So, it's been snowing ALL day. It maybe let up once. Maybe. We had several inches before Eric went in search for a snow shovel. Wrong idea!! Every place was sold out! But he was finally able to find one at some hardware store, of all places. So we broke out the new boots for Carter and ventured out into the snow. We also bought Carter a little toddler sled while we were out shopping for other people today. It was only $15 and can be used for a couple years, so I figured it was a good investment.
Here he is, trying out the new boots. They fit perfectly!
Had to walk around to make sure he could navigate in the things!!
And we had to ditch the light jacket for the more snow-proof stuff. Gloves first!!!
Then the heavy coat!
We finally made it outside! Carter was like a shadow to the dog for the first couple minutes.
Here is Eric, showing Carter the new sled.
And they were off!!
Around and around they went. Carter was giggling the whole time!!
I'm not so sure about this, Dad.
Around and around they went. Carter was giggling the whole time!!
This kid was having NO fun, I swear! Ok, so the smile kinda gives it away.
We had a great day. It's so much fun with him this age - he's starting to enjoy all the outdoors stuff now. What a fun, little family we have. I love it.

This looks so fun! I want a ride!
That boy is so damn darling! Love these pics. It's so hard missing the pleasure of seeing him grow into such a little man. He is so adorable in his boots, hat and coat. Have you taught him to do snow angels yet? I'll bet that would be fun to see. Love you guys!
I wish we could do something fun like that, but Ross is so OVERPROTECTIVE of Jeff, that he won't let him go outside, for very long anyway. That looks like it was a blast! :o)
