{2018} A Year in Review

This year started out very similar to previous years - sledding in the mountains. I can't think of a better way to start out any year than up in the crisp, mountain air.

We spent a large amount of time in the Idaho outdoors again this year - which will never change.

We also spent a huge amount of time indulging Carter's love for sports (and our's, obviously). It was a very busy three-sport year, but I honestly wouldn't have it any other way. Watching him pursue active hobbies is something I will always enjoy. He really improved in all aspects of sports this year.

And speaking of sports, we had an amazing time attending March Madness here in Boise. It was so fun to take off work and spend a couple days watching some incredible basketball!

We started a new tradition in the family - POKER NIGHT. Which actually looks more like this:

I pulled Matt even further into the travel world as we explored Belize. It was such an amazing place and we will definitely be back!

A little late to the game, but Kendall finally mastered her bike this year and it has totally changed our summer evening walks/bike rides.

Carter, Matt, and I had a blast at the Idaho History 4th Grade Rendezvous - I can't wait to share this with Kendall! It was one of my favorite things about school in Meridian.

Addie competed at the Canyon County Fair and did a fantastic job showing her sheep.

We had loving moments, here and there. ;)

We did more projects around the house than I can even count - but the biggest ones being tile and carpet. Thanks again to my parents for their time and effort with that tile!!

The kiddos kicked off another school year and have been doing incredibly well.

We watched a really cool meteor shower.

We snagged some updated pictures here and there.

Our RED SOX won the World Series!!!!

Every year, I have a personal reading challenge. This year was by far the best reading year I have had - which blows my mind considering how busy we were. Not sure how it happened, but I thoroughly enjoyed the majority of the 40 books from this year.

I really pushed to become more involved in the softball world, and really landed myself in some cool positions. President of Softball for Meridian Youth Baseball/Softball and Softball Instructor at Play Deep Academy. It has been one hell of a fun pursuit thus far, and I can't wait to see what this adventure brings!

We settled into Christmas and had a really fun holiday season.

And we closed out the year closer than ever.

Happy New Year, from our family to yours!
