KPFF - Headshots

I was contacted by the Boise office of a regional engineering firm (KPFF) to do some headshots of four of the local engineers for the company website. I knew with four guys, the shoot would be short and sweet, so it was a no-brainer to submit a quote for this one. Plus, my cousin, Matt, is one of the engineers. ;)  We met up outside my office in downtown Boise and walked a few blocks to grab various locations and backgrounds. I had specific instructions from management at KPFF regarding background and editing style, so part of my work, creatively, was already done for me.  It was sort of chilly that afternoon, with a breeze, so we made quick work and packed it in for the day.  Overall, I'm pleased with this corporate shoot.

Another Session Completed

When it became quite obvious that Bogus was going to have a terrible season, we decided to skip his ski lessons for this year. Why pay when the conditions were terrible, and by the time his lessons rolled around, there wouldn't be enough quality snow anyway? So we decided to cram in another session of swimming lessons before baseball starts.

I saw a huge improvement from the last session. He did such a great job! It's so fun to watch him learn and put those lessons into practice. Kendall had a great time splashing around in the kiddie pool, too.

 In a couple weeks, we will launch into baseball! Words can't describe my excitement - I've been waiting for this day for so long!

Baby R {newborn}

I did this newborn shoot last weekend, ironically in a neighborhood right next to the cemetery where my grandpa is buried. After the shoot, I took a walk over to visit with grandpa. Seemed like a good day to stop and say hello.  Baby R was wide awake for 90% of the shoot. She just wouldn't fall asleep! And she was such a trooper - didn't potty on anything until the very last shot with her parents, and then it went all over dad. We all got a good laugh!
