First Day of School - COVID version

To say the beginning of this school year has been a hot mess would be a gross understatement. I'm not sure WTF the school district/administration has been doing all summer, but this was somehow the "best" they could come up with for our kids. While we have worked through the technological bugs, this "part time" learning (seriously) is NOT what I would call the full education to which our kids are entitled. However, we are doing the best we can, and supplementing the missing learning in other ways.

Thirteen?!!!

We officially have a teenager in the house!

This kid has grown 5 inches in the last year. He has 2.5 more to catch his mama.

Happy Birthday, Carter!

Since Addie and Carter have birthdays close together, we typically have a joint party to celebrate.

Grand Champion!

Addie had a really good fair season this year. She competed in both Canyon and Western Idaho Fairs, with three different lambs. She earned a ribbon in every class in which she competed, and earned Grand Champion at the Western Idaho Fair.  She sure worked her butt off with those lambs!!

Lagoon!

Vacations this year have been a little tricky due to 'Rona. After postponing our cruise to Alaska earlier this year, we decided we needed to try something later in the year a little closer to home. Even as the date drew closer, it was still kind of up in the air as to whether or not we could actually make this trip happen. Thankfully, Idaho and Utah stayed open and we were able to have a great surprise (to the kids) trip to Lagoon!
