i had one of those, too. and i remember it being very loud.
i wonder how long we get away with not purchasing one for spencer? well, who am i kidding? jon's mom will surely buy her one - it seems she likes to buy spencer toys that annoy me. go figure.
Wendie - MY grandmother bought that for Carter. So don't think you will avoid Spencer having one by YOU not buying it, lol!! If I had your address, I would ship Carter's to her, lol!
I remember one being around years ago. I'm not sure if it was when I was a little girl or when my niece or daughters were little. It was some time ago so either may be right. Lil Man has one now and while everyone else in my house HATES it. Me and Lil Man have a blast with it!
Because I remember having one! 
And Carter thinks it's a pretty fun toy!!

Oh I remember my younger sister having one of these. I didn't know they still made them. Keep on Poppin' Carter!!!!!
