Pregnancy Tracker - 18 weeks

Once again - no big changes from last week, though I am starting to feel the baby fluttering.  The beginning of feeling it move around - which is always fun......until you are 9 months pregnant. Then the soccer tournament in your body gets pretty old, lol!

Here's what babycenter.com says about the baby at 18 weeks:

Head to rump, your baby is about 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and it weighs almost 7 ounces. It is busy flexing its arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. Its blood vessels are visible through the thin skin, and its ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from its head a bit. A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around its nerves, a process that will continue for a year after it is born. If you're having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you're having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, but he may hide them from you during an ultrasound.

Two more weeks until we find out what the baby is!!!!
