Summer Days

As the first day of school neared, our "end" of summer got quite busy with lots of fun.

We made salsa a couple of times with my mom:

We spent many evenings in the back yard practicing pitching:

We made tie-dye shirts:

We got back into gymnastics:

We attended big birthday bashes:

We spent a ton of time swimming at various places:

We saw Garth-freaking-Brooks:

We sought out mountain sunsets:

We went to the fair:

We spent evenings watching Carter play football:

We practiced softball at home and at Settlers more times than I can count:

We played hard and crashed even harder:

We spent a long night at the ER:

We spent many days/evenings walking the greenbelt and splashing around along the way:

Needless to say, it has been one hell of a fun summer!

Day Trip / Granite Creek-Rabbit Creek-Arrowrock

Another day trip adventure over Memorial Day Weekend was up Granite Creek to Rabbit Creek, and then over to Arrowrock. The fishing wasn't as good this day, but the adventure was still a fun one!  The kids had a blast riding in the back of the truck as soon as we hit dirt roads. Once we got to Arrowrock, there was a complete downpour of rain/hail, so we booked it to the truck to wait out the storm. This late spring weather in Idaho sure is fun!!
