Happy 1-5

Happy 1-5 to this wild child of mine! She is such an incredible human - still just all light and rainbows and sparkles. There's hardly ever a moment where she isn't full of joy with a smile on her face. I hope it's an incredible year, kiddo!

Happy Happy 14!

14? FOURTEEN??!!  It's been a heck of a year with this kiddo, and she didn't break stride once. I've never met a kid quite so funny and clever. She keeps us on our toes, always a witty come-back at the ready.  I hope 14 is the best year yet, Kendall.  I love you beyond measure!

Happiest of Birthdays, Mom!

Before my parents abandoned us for The Cook Islands for the remainder of the year (just kidding, though it DOES feel like it...are you EVER coming home???), we got together to celebrate my mom's birthday.  Carter, Addie, and Kendall made the mistake of commenting on all of the pictures on the fridge about how nobody has braces anymore, hairstyles are different, etc., because you can BET I made them march out back for an updated, informal picture.  Take that, turds. Mom always wins.

 Last year's big birthday celebration is tough to beat, but then this whole year happened and I'm pretty damn happy. I guess THIS is how it's supposed to be! I won't dig into that, or get all sentimental about it. This is just the best. We decided to hit the road for this birthday, and had a little fun down in Jackpot. Here's to another amazing trip around the sun!

 Happy 1-7 to this incredible young man.  Carter is focused, driven, hilarious, and a mega sports fan.  He is the sports Google of the family - just ask!  He is a great student, beyond responsible, and I could not ask for a better son.  Here's to 17, bud - I hope it's an amazing year for you!  I love you!

Birthday Madness - the BIG 1-3

 Oh Kendall......here we are, officially in the teenage years.  I hope we are all buckled up!  She had a fun little party with her friends.  Excited to see where 1-3 takes you, girlie!

 What a birthday, indeed!  Got crazy spoiled with a 24-hour rental of my absolute favorite car - spent quite a bit of time zooming around town - a 90-minute couple's massage, great breakfast, an escape room with my family, and a delicious dinner afterwards.  It was hands-down one of the best days of my life.  Well done, babe!

Happy 16!

 Carter had quite the 16th birthday celebration!  He requested Ruth's Chris for his birthday dinner, because OF COURSE he did. Smart kid!  We also went big for him and got him tickets to his first Seahawks game.  He was stoked! We made a quick trip to Seattle for the game and had a really good time.  He even got his jersey signed by a few players!
