A Pup Meet 'n Greet

We figured it was time for Mav to meet Banks and Indy...though we were nervous as to how it would go. With Banks being a perpetual humper of any male dog (we listen, we don't judge) and Indy being somewhat of an aggressive player, we just weren't sure what to expect. Banks did hump - never one to let us down - and Indy and Mav ran and played the entire time. It was a hoot watching them (not so much the humping part)!

Camping Again!

Boy, this weekend's camping was sure different than just two weeks ago.  The spot was a tent city - SO.MANY.PEOPLE. Definitely not how we are used to seeing things up there, but we made the best of it.  No kids this weekend - adults only! Mother Nature released her wrath for about three hours on Saturday afternoon/early evening with rain like I have never seen in Lowman. Wild! Other than that small adventure, the weather was spectacular and the company was top notch.  Dana and Tess were master chefs on the Blackstone! Indy has taken over our beloved Jesse's role as rock diving dog. Poor Banks got cold, so we put him in one of Randy's hoodies overnight, and then had some good snuggles with him in the morning.

Is It Warm Enough Now?

After the 4th, the weather got back to the usual summer heat, so we packed it up and went to Banks for some river time. We were the only ones up there all morning, which was glorious.  Carter and his buddy, Keynan, brought their fishing gear, and ventured off on their own while everyone else jammed out to some great music and swam around.  We were wrapping up to head home when all the people started rolling in. Perfect timing!  We also celebrated my dad and Tess' birthdays with a great BBQ over at my parents' house.  A pretty perfect day!

Labor Day Weekend Shenanigans

The extended weekend sure came at the perfect time. We had a great weekend that was equal parts busy and lazy, which is how it's done!
