Carter and I got his senior photos over the span of three different shoots. The first one was up at Boiling Springs last fall. The second was back in the Boise Foothills. The third was downtown Boise on a quiet Sunday morning. He really was a good sport about it. Let me tell ya, boy senior shoots are so completely different than girls! But we had a good time with all three and I'm glad he let me do this part for his senior year. So unbelievably proud of this young man.
Well, here we are at Carter's senior year of high school.....ready or not. It's going to be a whole bunch of "lasts" this year, and I am not sure how to wrap my mind around it. One of the cool things his school does for the seniors is allow them to purchase their own parking spot for the year, and to paint it with an approved design. Carter opted to go with the Thin Blue Line flag, and it was a tricky little design considering the parking spots are off-kilter. But we got it done and he's pretty happy with the final outcome.
I am still not sure how we went from diapers and bottles to his senior year...buckle up! To me, he'll always be the little boy whose tongue is out when he's concentrating (see if you can spot it in the pics).
