 Happy 1-7 to this incredible young man.  Carter is focused, driven, hilarious, and a mega sports fan.  He is the sports Google of the family - just ask!  He is a great student, beyond responsible, and I could not ask for a better son.  Here's to 17, bud - I hope it's an amazing year for you!  I love you!

 Happiest of birthdays to Addie!  A most beautiful, amazing, hard-working, and authentic young lady, who is full of sass, grit, love, and determination.  I hope year 15 is the absolute best - love you so much!

Thirteen?!!!

 We officially have a teenager in the house!

This kid has grown 5 inches in the last year. He has 2.5 more to catch his mama.

Since Addie and Carter have birthdays close together, we typically have a joint party to celebrate.

Eight

This sassy-pants girl turns 8 today. She had one heck of a busy birthday weekend - a softball game (and the win!), followed by not one, but TWO, birthday parties. And a birthday shared with Easter. Needless to say, our weekend has been PACKED.

This girl had quite the seventh trip around the sun. She learned some hard lessons at school with friendships, but she sure worked hard to overcome those. She also really excelled with her school work and has had a great year academically. She has embraced the heck out of softball, which has been everything I wanted it to be.

She's sassy, smart, hilarious, adventurous, and one heck of a firecracker all wrapped up into an itty bitty young lady. I'm so proud of her. Happy Birthday to my girl.

With as much as we challenge each other at times, I'm still getting voluntary hugs, snuggles, holding hands, and "I love you's", so we must be doing something right. Love you, bud. Happy Birthday (2 days late)!
