Yesterday, we went with my parents to the mountains to chop a bunch of wood for this winter. Our new house has a fantastic fireplace and I'm quite excited to curl up to some toasty fires this winter.......and save on the gas bill! So we left Carter with his Grammy Michelle, and we set off for some hard work.
There was a huge tree already down, that my parents had already taken three full truck-loads from. So we went back to the same tree, and it was still there. So we helped ourselves!
The three was about 30+ inches around, so the pieces we got were massive. It's going to be a lot of work to chop all this stuff!!
