Lindsey & Bill {Wedding}

I shot this couple's wedding last weekend at Eagle Hills Golf Course.  It was supposed to be an outdoor wedding, with gorgeous landscaping and decorations....however, knowing our reliable Idaho weather, this did not happen.  It was windy and rainy, so the entire event was moved inside.  This put a damper on the pictures we were able to take.  But we got what we could!  Below are some shots from the day:

Project 2011: Through His Eyes, Part 22

Here are Carter's pictures for last week!

Some of his animals, lined up and ready for battle!

Ahhhh the gorgeous weather this weekend meant he spent hours and hours on his bike.
 And the scooter!
Too much backlight - but this is his buddy Daysen when we went over for the play date.
And his latest movie obsession.  I can't stand this movie.  Too much la-la-girly singing for my taste.  Maybe he can introduce it to Kendall in about a year!

This is a sticker on the lid of his toilet. And this is the last picture of his toilet - we'll put a stop to that right now, lol!
 But the toothbrush is ok.
He always wants to take pictures when I'm feeding Kendall.  A goofy shot this time.

Play

Yesterday, we went out to visit my friend, Abby, at her new house.  The visit allowed Carter to play with his buddy, Daysen.  They jumped on the trampoline, played baseball, rode around on bikes, watched a little bit of a movie, etc.  It was a gorgeous afternoon and the boys had a blast!  Here is a picture from their day:

Cracks me up - Carter's jump makes him look like a little leprechaun!

And yes, this little cute got her shorts on and came with us.  Forgive the blur - forgot to change settings, and just wanted to capture her partial smile.

Coming Soon

I shot a wedding last weekend at Eagle Hills Golf Course - the lovely couple is currently on their honeymoon, so I've had a little extra time to edit.  More shots from their big day are coming soon!

My Goal, My Mission......

.....since I've been on maternity leave, I've been scrapbooking like a fool.  I'm so behind.  I'm currently finishing up 2009.  Yes, 2009.  But it's been a blast too!  But one thing I noticed over and over is that I'm ALWAYS the one behind the camera.  Anyone who is camera happy understands this.  So most of the pictures are Carter with everyone else.  And occasionally I'm in there.  So, here's the deal:  I'm passing off the camera more often.  George will have to get used to someone else handling him because I NEED to be in all of these photographed memories as well.  And it starts today.  We took Carter out for a bike ride and my first instinct was to snap a picture of him and Eric.  Not anymore, my friends.  It's this way from now on:

Project 2011: Through His Eyes, Part 21

Ah! Sorry for being late with this post - we were unable to locate the camera until tonight.  Here are Carter's pictures from last week:

Oops - sorry for this one being sideways.  He took this one while we were making dessert one night.

 Well heck - sorry again!
This is Kendall's corner.  When Carter was a baby, we had the same type of set up for him - a blanket where all his stuff was.  Makes it easier to keep a clean room.  This is where she plays.  Her basket of toys is there, the floor toy is there, and her bouncer.  Though the bouncer does go from room to room if she's awake and I'm doing stuff around the house.
This dinosaur rug is in Carter's (messy) room.  Along with his PJs and clothes that are supposed to be in his laundry basket.  It's a battle.
Ahhh, the inside of his toy box again.
And one of his cars.  He has LOTS of cars.  He gets a car every time we go grocery shopping - Winco has a pretty big selection, so if he's a good boy during the shopping trip, he gets to pick out a car.  Needless to say, it WORKS!
This is a terrible picture. I was making a funny face at the camera and he took it right when I decided to say "take the picture already!"
I know I promised no more floor pictures, but this one had his feet, so it's marginally different.  ;)
