July had some great reads! Minus The Island. That was a hot mess and I 100% gave up on that book about a quarter of the way through it. The Red Book and Escape are books two and three, respectively, in the Billy Harney series by James Patterson. I am always hesitant to start a new series by him because I feel like he has completely exhausted The Women's Murder Club series. We'll see if he can keep this one fresh. The Lies I Tell was a great, fast-paced read - Julie Clark is definitely a great author.
