So we had to do two parts to baby Harper's shoot because the first day, she was not sleeping no matter what anyone said or did. And awake newborn pictures are just fine, but she was really awake, squirmy, and whiney. So we got what we could and decided to try a second session a couple days later. The second shoot definitely went better than the first. Even though I was wanting to really push newborn shoots this year, I still feel quite out of my element. I really need more practice with these.
