Yellowstone National Park

DISCLAIMER:  This is going to be a massive photo dump, so I apologize ahead of time!

We decided to hit Yellowstone National Park this fall. We were super nervous, simply because we had been watching the record-setting number of visitors for the last few months, and really didn't want to spend the entire trip stuck in traffic jams. So we decided to shoot for the weekend AFTER Labor Day, thinking this would mean less people. Boy did we hit the jackpot with that gamble! The Friday we were there, we timed everything perfectly. We got inside the park early in the morning, and were able to see the main spots with minimal crowds. Saturday, there was definitely more traffic in the middle of the day, and by mid-afternoon, the traffic jams were definitely a thing. Fortunately, we were leaving the park by that point and telling the crowds buh-bye!

We could not have asked for better weather for this trip. It very much felt like fall with crisp, cool mornings, warm afternoons, a sprinkle of rain, and chilly evenings. The fall colors were starting to show while we were there, which made for some gorgeous drives!

There were too many photos to organize, so they are completely random......sorry!
