February's Literary Adventures

February, understandably, was a lighter reading month.  Each year, I challenge myself to read something out of my usual genre, and this year, it was 8 Rules of Love by Jay Shetty.  Jay's podcast has totally sucked me in, and I have been following everything he puts out.  It's been life-changing for me, so it was a no-brainer to read this book.  I plan to add more outside of my "usual" as the year goes on.  The Clint Wolf series is still maintaining at a good clip, so I will stick with that.  Goodbye Never was a great read.

Annual Sledding Adventure

This year's annual sledding adventure was about two months later than usual, due to a stupid amount of sickness that rolled through the family.  However, we finally made it happen!  Grimes Creek just doesn't disappoint, and we were hammered with snow the entire time we were up there.  It was a perfect, snowy mountain day!

The Happiest Place on Earth - A Grand Adventure pt. 3

Day 3 was back to Disneyland.  We had a couple of rides that we didn't get to on Day 1, so we tackled those, and then did some repeats because the lines were virtually non-existent first thing in the morning.  Gotta take advantage of that when it happens!  I think the kids were quickly tuckered out on this day, because we left the park early afternoon and they spent the remainder of the day in the pool.  It's a good thing this place came with a hot tub and pool - the kids definitely spent an overwhelming majority of their time in both! It sure was an epic family vacation! Mom and Dad - THANK YOU!!!
