Since Carter's birthday occurs in mid-September, he has to start kindergarten when he is almost 6 years old. And I hear for boys, that's a good thing. Today was his registration, so I took him over and we went through that process. He had a good time and I snuck some pictures, of course. I can't believe he's going to be going to school this fall!

A Day At The Field
It was windy yesterday, so I had promised Carter that we would spend a couple of hours at the baseball field today going through drills. The closest (well maintained) field to our house is Centennial. As much as I hate stepping foot on that field, it suits our purpose. It was pretty nice today, so we spent quite a while out in the sun going through hitting, throwing, fielding, and running. There were a few times where Carter got discouraged and wanted to go home, but we stuck with it. Teaching this age is so different, and really requires a "softer" approach so feelings don't get hurt. All in all, he had a great day!

Carter Lost His First Tooth!
This tooth has been hanging on for weeks now. Today, it finally came out! Carter did such a great job! The tooth fairy will be visiting our house tonight.

That Girl
Kendall seems to have settled back into somewhat normal behavior. Meaning, she isn't spending the bulk of her days being spanked or put into time-out. I'm sure this is refreshing for her.....even more so for us. Rotten couple of months with that child, let me tell ya.
These pictures were taken last Sunday and I'm just getting around to editing them. I hope the next house has great evening light!

Nicole & Fam
Last weekend, I met up with my friends, Rob and Nicole, to do some pictures. Nicole is graduating from BSU in a few weeks, so she wanted some solo pictures to send out with her announcements. We also had her parents and brother meet up with us, to get some updated family pictures. This is also the shoot where I injured my foot - still not sure what happened, but at least I can walk now!

Introducing......
I wasn't planning to add another member to the family. However, Eric found a super cute cat on craigslist and I just couldn't say no. I've been wanting a ragdoll siamese cat, or something that resembles one. I saw one last December while I was out and about for all of the holiday bazaars and have been in a mission since. This one is 14 weeks old and we picked her up last night. Still haven't decided on a name, but I'm leaning towards Annie. She appears to be part himalayan (without the smooshed (is that a word?!!) face) and shorthair.
She slept like a champ last night....I was prepared for a night of whining due to separation from her family. But she laid at my feet and slept all night. And she did great today while we were at work. I think I'll keep her!
