Scrapbooking

I love to scrapbook. I have messed around with it various times throughout my life, but Eric's mom got me into it A LOT. This could end up being a very expensive hobby! But it's fun and it documents our memories in a more fun way than your traditional photo album. Here are some of the pages in my current album.......by no means is this ALL of the pages. We would be here for days if that were the case. And please excuse the poor cropping on the pictures of the pages. I will do better next time.

Random Fact #42

I LOVE LOVE LOVE smoothies.

I LOVE smoothies. Just in case I didn't stress it enough before the picture. I ate smoothies at least three times per week while pregnant. Which might explain why I gained 40 pounds! And why I was broke. We have at least two deliciously amazing smoothie places within 2 miles of our house. Very dangerous. I don't really have a particular favorite - I have yet to try a smoothie I didn't like.

Random Photo Shoot Time

I do this from time to time. And 99% of the time, Carter is more than happy to play along. Because to him, at this point in life, it IS playing. He hasn't caught on that mom uses this camera for her own selfish reasons.....to create and preserve memories. And one day, he WILL appreciate it. Long down the road. Because it takes boys longer than girls......at pretty much everything in life, lol.

So anyway, here is our random photo shoot with the boy, and a rocking chair and a book and a monkey. :-)

And then after the random photo shoot, we practiced the walking. He's close. He can do about 5 steps now before he decides to bail and go back to crawling. Baby steps, right?
