Spring Break Madness

It was a quietly packed spring break for this family. Lots of family time! Plenty of yard games. Finally taking down the Christmas lights (don't judge). Snuggles with the pups. Time at the softball field, including a super fun parents v kids whiffle ball game! Lots of walks with the dogs around the neighborhood, Greenbelt, and Kleiner. March Madness! Nights around the fire with good music. Legos galore. And movies! We saw Sing 2 and The Lost City. All in all, a wonderful week off for the kiddos.

Softball is in the air!

Well, it sure FEELS like spring softball out there. Chilly temps and wind? Yup. That sounds about right. Practices started a few weeks ago, and we finally had our first game yesterday. The girls did so well! Kendall struggled a little bit pitching, but she definitely battled through it. She had some great plays defensively and some solid singles at the plate. I think it's going to be another fantastic season for her!

That's a Wrap!

5th grade y-ball came to a close this weekend. It's been an adventure watching Kendall navigate basketball this season. She is a beast on defense but a little timid on offense. Something to work on, for sure!
