Go Fish?

Towards the end of spring break, we decided it was time to kick off the fishing season. We explored Lucky Peak and Arrowrock. Not a bite to be had! Nonetheless, we had a great time putting around, riding the 4-wheeler, and enjoying the fresh air!

March's Literary Adventures

March certainly had some very interesting reads. A Stitch In Time was not my normal genre, but the author is one of my favorites, so I had to give it a chance. Her other books are in one of my favorite series, so I knew there was no way she could write a bad story. I'm glad I gave it a "go" because it was such a good book! 

Mia Sheridan is a new-to-me author and both books in the "Where..." series were really good. 

Chase the Butterflies was definitely new to me, author and genre. The book certainly doesn't fit into a specific genre, as many of the reviews stated, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. It took several major turns, one of which almost had me saying "nope, I'm not finishing this". But then I found myself completely pulled into the story and cried through the last 1/4 of the book. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the book. 

All in all, March was a good reading month!

Working Ranch Horse

 February's Working Ranch Horse was cancelled due to weather, so it was nice to get back out there this month to watch Addie do her thing with Lil' Bit. This horse is definitely more of a barrel and cutting horse than she is a trail horse, but Addie worked her through some stubborn moments and had a really good day!

February's Literary Adventures

February definitely brought some incredible reads. I highly recommend every single one of these as they are all action-packed mysteries. Can't wait to see what March brings!

January's Literary Adventures

 January definitely started 2021 off with some excellent reads! I have no complaints about any of these books. All were absolutely fantastic!  Let's see what February brings!
