Yesterday was a rare weekend day off for Matt, so we quickly loaded the car for some time up in the mountains. It was a super fun day spent at the river, and just what we needed.
The weather was absolutely perfect. The spot we picked was actually taken by a small group learning to kayak. We had a great time watching them, and all of the other river rafters. The majority of the river rafters had dogs along, so it was fun interacting with them as they headed down river.
We didn't take swim suits as we really didn't think it would be warm enough to get into the water. So, we improvised!
Some little dude got a little mouthy and ended up getting dunked in the cold water! I think he learned his lesson. ;)
