I went to school and played softball with Gretchen. I have been doing her family pictures for years. Her kids are always a hoot and we spend most of the shoot giggling and making fun of each other.

I met up with Kylie a couple weeks ago - she was so fun! I feel like mid-shoot, she really came out of her shell and we had a great time. She and her mom had some fun ideas from Pinterest - I obviously can't put up every single picture, but here is a good mix of what we got!

My Loves

Day One of the 30 days of being thankful (wave going around on FB) was dedicated to my children.....my healthy, beautiful, funny, smart, sassy children. They are the best decisions I ever made and I am so thankful to have them......even when they are defiant little chits. ;)

Happy Halloween!

Halloween this year was so much fun!  Carter was super into it and decided to be a ninja because "it has the best weapons, mom."  That was easily decided. Kendall's costume was a little more difficult. I'm not a big fan of the princess-y stuff and wanted something to fit her sassy attitude. We decided on a high seas buccaneer pirate. It was adorable! Kendall really got into it more than I thought she would. She was running up to the houses with Carter - though her little legs didn't last as long as we were soon carrying her up to the doors. We definitely need to start earlier next year because they had just as much fun handing out the candy at home. And Eric's face - where do I start? He was creeping people out as we drove to my parents' house. There was one old man that stared for the longest time, trying to figure out what was going on. And all the kids were so scared! It was too funny! Maybe next year, I will do the zombie thing, too.
