Ahhhh, the perks......

I'm currently editing a wedding from last weekend......the bride and groom are off in Jamaica, so I have a little extra time to do some great editing. I keep getting sidetracked by pics of a guy who was a guest at the wedding. Andy.

Andy used to be into those personal fitness competitions (I'm sure you couldn't tell).  He had numerous requests from the old ladies to remove his shirt so he could pose for pictures. I'm not kidding.....he outshown the wedding. 

I think this lady's face sums up how we all felt about Andy that night.

I met up with this couple a while ago to do some maternity photos. Their cute daughter came along and participated in some of the pictures.  Here are some samples:

Seattle - At Night

When we were in Seattle, we got the chance to go up to the top of the Space Needle Twice - once during the day and once at night. Of course, I snapped pictures both times, but I was going for something very specific with the night shot. I accomplished most of it here, though the turbulence of the building/wind/height messed with the shot just slightly. I still love it - I'm submitting it at the fair this year in a different category, we'll see how it does. I will also blow up the pic and frame it at my house.

Project 52: Week Thirty-One {wild card}

I didn't get a picture for last week's theme; however, I do have one that was taken recently that I do love. So it's going to be my wild card picture.  Taken with my phone - excuse the quality.

What's Been Going On?

I feel so out of touch with my blog right now......the past few weeks have been insanely busy for me, and August doesn't show any signs of slowing down. I have weddings every single weekend in August AND September.....except for one lonely weekend where I will be driving to meet my brother and his girlfriend for a photoshoot. 

So it seems like I haven't had more than two seconds with my kids, and the camera has hardly been out.  Here are some shots over the last month or so that I wanted to share:

I don't remember if I posted this or not.....taken in June, while trying to get an updated pic of the kids. This proved to be almost impossible.

There is a hilarious story behind these animals.....I won't take the time to repeat it here. If you follow me on Twitter, you know. Let's just say.....they stalked me at one of my photoshoots at Kathryn Albertson Park.

Project 52: Week Thirty {euphoria}

I was totally at a loss for LAST week's theme (yes, I'm late), until I remembered I was heading up to the cabin with my friend, Wendie, who was in town for a week.  We went up for a day-trip last Sunday, and spent most of the day at the river, relaxing, with an adult beverage.  There aren't many places in the world (ok, so I haven't been a world-traveler yet) that make me happier than when I'm sitting at the swimming hole.
