This is not what I invisioned when we sat down to do this picture. I wanted one of us sitting down, but it just wasn't working. So we stood up and this is what I got. I'm going to have to re-do this shot with a fourth person to stand above and behind us to get our feet just how I want them. Until then, this is what we have.

Concert Recap
So, we went to see Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, and Kenny Chesney in concert last night. I have to say, I was quite disappointed with the sound system.....I much prefer concerts at the Idaho Center. However, it was still a fantastic concert.
Then this curtain came down and we new what time it was: SHOW TIME.
And let me tell ya, the second he hit the stage.....the p-a-r-t-y was ON. Like Donkey Kong.....times TEN.
And then, something a-ma-zing happened. We had talked before the concert how cool it would be if he played our wedding song {"Me and You" - it's on my music player at the bottom of the page if you care to take a listen}. And we figured it was a LONG shot simply because it was an older, very slow song. But an amazing song, nonetheless. And he played it.
And let me tell ya what absolutely won him over with the crowd. He ditched his cowboy had and put on a BSU hat, which was thrown on stage. SOLD. Guaranteed. With as much as this city backs up it's college football team, that's all he had to do to cap off a perfect night!

Photoshop Elements Tutorial: Class 8
{no, I didn't leave out a class......class 7 was just a simple review of what we have accomplished so far}
Class 8 was about adding texture and type to our pictures. Adding the type has to be one of my least favorite things. I'm more of a caption person, and adding it right to the picture doesn't appeal to me. So I wasn't too excited about this project.
Here is my original picture:
And here is my picture after I added a paper bag texture and some type.

Step AWAY From the Computer
Ok, who did this to me?!!?? Damn this program and the photo-editing class. I now have no life.

My every thought is consumed by what pictures I have {answer: thousands} and how can I possibly edit them differently?

{Answer: a thousand different ways.....for thousands of different photos}

Someone, just please remember to slide some bread and water underneath the guest bedroom/office door.

Excellent.
Now, where was I?
{All of these are obviously from my wedding.....the arch being my favorite. And clearly I'm a fan of using multiple textures.}

Photoshop Elements Tutorial: Class 6
Photoshop Elements Tutorial: Class 5
Class five was all about adding textures. We actually added three different textures to one photo at the same time.
Textures are really fun and can add subtle, or even drastic, little changes to your pictures. Most often, they are used to add a worn look; but can also be used to add shadows, light, scuffs, tints, or speckles.
I feel that adding textures to photos again requires a certain photo. It's probably not as fun with your standard picture of a smiling little child. It's more fun with "moodier" pictures.
Here is my original:
And here is after I added my three textures:
