Children at Play

Carter had a playdate Sunday with my good friend, Abby's son, Daysen. Carter is a little over a month older than Daysen....though Daysen is quite a bit taller. His mama is 6' - I am FAR from that. Carter will not be a tall fella.
Anyway.......so the boys played. Daysen was much better as basketball simply because he could reach the hoop. We still have to lift Carter for his slam dunk....after which, he cheers.

Then they played in Carter's room......they played some lovely music for us on Carter's Leapfrog Learning Table.

Then we loaded them up and headed to the park. It was a nice enough day - just slightly chilly. But the boys had a great time!!

At first, Carter was quite perplexed with the duck. He wasn't sure what to do with it. So we finally just put him on and showed him how to rock.

Then we moved on to some of the slides. The great thing about this park is that it is geared towards 2-5 year olds. So all the stuff was pretty fun for the boys.

Then we headed over to the swings - they had the baby swings there, so it was fun to watch them swing by themselves. Both boys were squealing! It's fun to watch their faces when those butterflies hit their bellies.

And one thing this park had that is rare anymore is a merry-go-round. I think this was their favorite part though. They loved going round and round.

All in all, it was such a fun day! I can't wait for the next playdate!
