Remembering
I don't know who all knows this, but Eric and his ex, Shawna, had a baby who didn't make it. Today would have been her 6th birthday. Eric's mom wrote a lovely blog about it on her page. Check it out. http://michellescreativetreasures.blogspot.com/

Tagged
Eric's mom tagged me and I'm suppose to tag you.
But first ....the rules. The rules of the game are:
1. Link back to the person that tagged you.
2. Post these rules on your blog.
3. Share six unimportant things about yourself.
4. Tag six people at the end of your entry.
#1 - For several weeks now, I have been completely unmotivated at work. I love my job, but other things have taken over my mind and I just can't seem to focus.
#2 - I have a picture of Carter as my computer wallpaper and I can't count how many times per day I look at it and smile.
#3 - I have an ear ache right now.
#4 - Eric's friend wants us to go camping with them this weekend and I don't want to go. I can't stand the guy's girlfriend and frankly, I don't care to spend my long weekend with them. I will think of any excuse to get out of it.
#5 - I'm stressing about money - as usual, plane tickets, rings, passports. Ah!
#6 - I started tanning again last night.
If you read my blog, you are tagged.

Weekend Recap ... Part 1
Eric and I decided Thursday night that we were going to head up to the mountain for a day trip on Saturday. We decided to head up to Idaho City to play in the hot springs, the river, and Eric could fish while Carter and I played.
Well, that plan didn't actually play out. We drove around, taking the scenic route, for five long hours. I would have been fine with the outing, but I felt bad for Carter, who was confined to his car seat. So I was impatient, to say the least. I wanted to be laying on the blanket with Carter, listening to the river. Needless to say, Eric and I were barking at each other the whole trip.

Some random cave across the river, in the side of the mountain. We saw several caves.

As if that wasn't enough fun, Eric got a flat tire. I could see it coming because he really wasn't avoiding any rocks in the road. So when I heard the tire pop, I wasn't entirely surprised and politely informed Eric 'you have a flat tire'. So Carter and I played in the truck while Eric got the spare and replaced the flat. We finally got to stop and have our little picnic. The weather was perfect. Not too hot, a nice breeze.
Then we decided to head home - and took the short way. ;)
