Honeymoon Day 9 - Maui

Oh, the Road to Hana.  We went back and forth on whether we wanted to do this drive.  We heard mixed reviews, but ultimately decided to give it a go.  And boy are we glad we did!  It was a hoot of a drive...and you have to laugh, otherwise it's too stressful to manage!  It's a very narrow road, filled with more twists and turns to count, many one-lane bridges, and lots of squeezing off the shoulder of the road IF YOU CAN to get by other cars.  We didn't make all of the stops along the Road, but we did several that were really cool.

The first stop was at the Garden of Eden, which was just impeccably manicured and landscaped, and had so many different types of flowers, plants, and trees.  There were also several peacocks there, so we had to grab some pictures for Kendall!

Lots of other stops along the Road.

We found the Hidden Beach!  I didn't think our rental would make it down the road, but we navigated slowly and carefully, and there were a whopping FOUR people there.  So incredible to see a black sands beach!

We stopped at a waterfall my dad jumped into 30+ years ago, and so, of course, Randy had to do the same.

We also stopped at Ho'okipa Beach to watch some incredible surfing.  The waves here are monster waves, and the surfers are incredible!
