Addie continued her winning streak at fairs over to this year. For the 2021 Canyon County Fair, she rocked it and brought home first place in her showmanship class and Grand Champion for her breeding ewe. We sure are proud of her!

The Big Debut!
Carter has been asking and asking if he can play with the guys in the men's fastpitch league. I'm pretty sure for liability reasons, he likely has to wait until he's 16 (maybe even 18). But they have been super short-staffed lately, so we finally gave him his big chance. The stipulation was he could not bat. So he rocked right field with a couple amazing plays, and was the pinch runner for several players on the team. He did so great!

Exploring New Spots - Again!
With as much money as we spend on gas getting up to the mountains to play in the water, we could probably pay for a backyard pool by now. However, that wouldn't allow for these views or the quality time spent rocking out to some good music with the windows down......also read: listening to the kids bicker on what was supposed to be a peaceful drive. ;)

Finish It On a High Note
There are more thoughts and feelings swirling around the decision to leave club ball than I could possibly put down on paper. To say it was a tough decision would be a gross understatement. However, at the same time, the decision was also quite simple. I'll just leave it at that.
The girls were able to finish out their season on a high note. They competed quite well in the last two tournaments of the year. I am so incredibly proud of their growth this last year in the club ball environment. I'm excited to see what's next......
