Independence Day Celebration!

This year was a very busy 4th of July, but we managed to get in lots of fun, including the parade in downtown Boise and then watching the Meridian Speedway fireworks display that night. We had a great time!

The Big Move!

The big move actually took place a week ago, but due to CenturyLink being slow on the transfer of internet service (shocker), this post was a bit delayed. I got ahead of the game quite a bit with the packing, so when the U-Haul arrived, all we had to do was make one load, one trip, and one unload. And I have to say, it was pretty dang quick and easy! I had great help from my family, payable in adult beverages and food of course. ;)  I truly can't thank my family, especially my parents (!!!) enough for the help.

This house is my adventure house. While it's the perfect size for our family, it does need some work. We are definitely looking forward to MOST of those projects. ;)  Cheers!

Today was the big day.....what an amazing, empowering process to get this done all on my own. Woo hoo!

Beat the Heat!

How so? Water and sno-cones. Every time!

 

With the big move quickly approaching, everyone is getting a little restless in the house filled with boxes. We have tried to stay out of the house as much as possible when we aren't consumed with packing/cleaning. It's been a heck of a summer so far, and we have barely begun!

Nick and his mother have been friends of the family for as long as I can remember, so when Nick's mom approached me to see if I was available to shoot the wedding, I was so excited. It was a wonderful day, with perfect weather and countless belly laughs. What a fun group of people!
