Tom Segura

When we learned Tom Segura was coming to Idaho Falls, the first thing that came to our minds was "WHY IDAHO FALLS?"  But hey, we love a good road trip, so we booked a hotel, cranked some great music and very interesting podcasts, and made our way over to Mo-Town, USA. We stopped along the way to say a quick hello to one of Randy's buddies.  We had the best time - we found a great little Irish pub for an early dinner, and then hit the show. We laughed every second of that show - from the opener, Kirk Fox, to Tom's entire set. What an amazing night!

14? FOURTEEN??!!  It's been a heck of a year with this kiddo, and she didn't break stride once. I've never met a kid quite so funny and clever. She keeps us on our toes, always a witty come-back at the ready.  I hope 14 is the best year yet, Kendall.  I love you beyond measure!

BSU Campus Tour

Excuse me...what?  

Time sure is a thief.  Carter is knocking on the door of his senior year, so I figured it was time to do a college campus tour.  They really did a great job, and holy moly has a long changed since I went to BSU! I We had a great time exploring with our guide and group, and came back with more info than I anticipated. I cannot believe we are almost to college. Where does the time go?!

Happiest of Birthdays, Mom!

Before my parents abandoned us for The Cook Islands for the remainder of the year (just kidding, though it DOES feel like it...are you EVER coming home???), we got together to celebrate my mom's birthday.  Carter, Addie, and Kendall made the mistake of commenting on all of the pictures on the fridge about how nobody has braces anymore, hairstyles are different, etc., because you can BET I made them march out back for an updated, informal picture.  Take that, turds. Mom always wins.
