Day Trip / Anderson Ranch

We had a long(er) weekend over Memorial Day Weekend, although the weather surely didn't cooperate with us! The rain didn't stop us from trekking out into outdoor Idaho for some fishing adventures.  

Anderson Ranch is always a beautiful place to visit, and, despite the rain, there were TONS of campers and people fishing. 

Wrapping Up Another School Year

Another school year has come to a close. Carter officially ended his elementary school career, and Kendall wrapped up a great 2nd grade year.  I was able to help out at their field day, which is always a lot of fun. It was pretty much the only good weather day in a 3-week span of monsoon-like conditions here in the valley.

The 5th grade ceremony was really nice - they had five really great songs to perform, followed by some awards, cake, 5th grade BBQ, etc.

Academically, it was a great year for both kids. Carter is still testing several grade levels ahead, so I'm excited to see how he does in middle school!
