Last year, Randy and his girls introduced Kendall to thrifting and they absolutely created a monster. I think she has gone once or twice since then, but last weekend, I got to witness the creature in her natural habitat. I do think she was on the lookout more for boys, a/k/a "fine shyts"...I'll let you guess just how much I love that phrase, than she was clothes. However, she actually made a really good haul! And then we added one last stop to our very exhausting day, which was getting her second piercings in her ears. She had herself all psyched-out, crushing my hands...but quickly realized that there was very little pain.

Sledding in March?
Sometimes, that's just the way it goes. Early on in January, when we normally head up for our annual sledding adventure, there just wasn't enough snow. So we waited...and waited...and waited some more. Finally, the first weekend in MARCH, we were able to make it happen. It was a warm day, with everyone quickly peeling off their layers. No fire needed. A full buffet of lunch and goodies. A good day was had by all!
